Working on a collage wall in a dining room. We have only a few more pieces to hang and it will be all finished.
This is a great way to fill a large wall while adding a creative and personal touch. You don't have to spend a tone of money, start at the thrift store where you can buy lots of frames in different sizes. Paint them all the same color and lay them out in a fun pattern. Then you can start to look for other decorative items at your favor home decor stores, like clocks, crosses, mirrors or sconces.

Color trends 2013

Have you been considering a fresh new color palette for a fresh new year?!?! If so, here is a calming color palate with a wonderful punch of color on the ceiling. This color combination is hitting the most desirable for a common area. Benjamin Moore considers this at the top of the paint color trend for 2013! 2walls Sea haze (2137-50), the other 2 walls not seen Pittsfield buff (HC-24), the ceiling Satchel (AF-240), and the trim Monterey white (HC-27). I have been taking sometime to work out my plan of attack for 2013 and I have to say I am extremely excited to get started on the execution. Company is coming!

The holidays are apron us and soon our homes will be filled with friends and family. Sometimes they might even say a night or 2. Now is the time to make sure you are ready for your guests. Here is a few tips to plan ahead, make sure to have extra linens and towels on hand, sales are everywhere so you should not have a problem getting extras. Buy a few small gifts to say thank you, if you really want to leave a lasting impression with your guests a robe and slippers would be a wonderful gift to give them for there stay. Last tip is, stop by the dollar store and pick up a few toiletry items that we all sometimes forget to grab. You can make your home more of a bed and breakfast that will be memorable for everyone!!!

Stylish stencils and patterns...ideas for your home!

You hear it all the time, if you want to change a space and you don't have a lot of money to spend...paint the walls! This could not be more true, however just painting the walls is the first step. If you take it a step further you could transform your space into a stylish, unique and possibly fun environment, by using or creating a Stencil!!!

There are millions of different designs, and applications for a stencil, you could integrate them onto curtains, a sold rug, decor-on a table, even lampshades. I have focused on inspiring you to use stencils on the wall. As you enjoy these photos I have collected as examples of inspiration, think about how different your spaces could look if you created something beautiful on the walls, instead of the solid color that is existing! I am starting a little project of my own...using stencils in my bedroom...the photos will be posted soon.

New projects are always exciting and motivating. Before you can really begin, it is important to have your color scheme together. Coming up with a new color scheme can be a little scary and some what challenging. I am here to tell you that it does not have to be. Designer's can recreate the color wheel of a home by listening to your needs, knowing the ending results of the space and by taking items that are existing in the space into consideration.

Chase Design is currently working on a new project, where the logo has been designed and it is orange. Not neon orange or rusty orange but more like a true vibrant Strong orange. Where do we go from there...grey and blue! Contracting and soothing is always helpful when working with such a bold color.
